January 31st 2017 , exactly 6 days after the release of the Shah Rukh Khan's film Raees - the actor was seen in Amritsar with his little son AbRam to seek blessings and show gratutude for the success of Raees. Accompanying him was Ritesh Sidhwani the producer of the film.
SRK posted a picture of himself with son Abram on Instagram and wrote " At the Sri Darbar Sahib. Peace and love and all feelings beautiful. Thank you Amritsar."
Shah Rukh Khan said before he entered the temple "It is the first time that Ritesh and my little son AbRam will be visiting the Golden Temple. It was my wife who sent AbRam along with me to seek blessings. I am very happy to be here."
Shah Rukh Khan was seen feeding his son ' parshad ' ( holy sweets offered at a Sikh Temple ).
Both SRK and AbRam were wearing black t-shirts and camouflage printed cargo pants as AbRam was held by Shah Rukh Khan in his arms as they were in the temple premises.
Adressing the crowd Shahrukh Khan said "I would firstly like to express my gratitude to Darbar Sahib for the reception of our film."
King Khan said in a religious note " The peace and serenity one derives at Darbar Sahib is something I feel you can attain nowhere in this world."
Raees Team revealed that it was a first time experience for AbRam and Excel Entertainment's Sidhwani.
The visit to the Golden temple at Amritsar was a personal outing to express the gratitude of Raees Team for the appreciation garnered by their movie, said a statement issued on behalf of the makers.
